This section showcases selected prototpyes and experiments, most of which were part of our under graduate studies. Although the following never reached the point of being fully resolved we believe they still have merit as sketch ideas.

Smart Pallette (visual prototype) 2005. with Robert Djaelani. A colour mixing product concept, to allow architechts and interior designers to mix screen based colour schemes through four round squeezable CMYK inputs. The value of this product would be in allowing designers to quickly create and present a range of colour schemes during client meetings and on-site.

NCR code project ,2004. The ATM manufacturers NCR set a us a breif about exploring the potential of cash machines in the future. Our take on the breif was to look specificly at pin numbers, passwords and codes. Here we propose a password/code concept that is visual, instead of numerical. The user can create their own password by choosing 1 of 10 colours, alongside 1 of 10 patterns, and 1 of 10 symbols - in this example the individual code is (yellow, stripes, bike). We see potential in this visual method of coding as a memorable and personal way of choosing passwords that could be applied to suitcases, lockers, garden sheds etc.
