2010 The seduction of the Chewing Gum Chair is in the nostalgic story it tells. It is reminiscent of school class rooms, where the undersides of tables and chairs could be seen as surfaces to discard used chewing gum. This somewhat charming act is brought to our attention in the Chewing Gum Chair - a classic Thonet No 14 chair, decorated with chewing gum shaped pieces of ceramic. The chair is part of a Fabrica collaboration with Parisian department store Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, the outcome of which was an exhibition and product range. For more info visit Fabrica Features.
